We are rebuilding

Nobel Field exhibition, one of the exhibitions being rebuildt.

The Nobel Peace Center is preparing new exhibitions on the second floor. The museum will remain open throughout the construction period, and admission tickets are half price.

Visitors to the Nobel Peace Center between 7 September and 10 December will find a slightly reduced exhibition offering: parts of the second floor are closed, but the entire first floor, with the exhibitions Paths to Peace and The Will to Change the World, is open. The dialogue exhibition on the second floor is also open.

The Nobel Field and the Medal Chamber are completely closed to the public during this period, and admission tickets are half price.

On 12 December, we open a brand-new gallery where the new exhibition about this year’s Peace Prize laureate will be shown. At the same time, an anniversary exhibition marking the 125th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize will open.

In autumn 2027, the second phase of the rebuilding will take place. We will then complete the new permanent exhibition about all Peace Prize laureates throughout history, which will replace the Nobel Field.

Welcome to the Nobel Peace Center, follow along as we build the visitor experiences of the future.
