People's Peace Prize Celebration

For the first time, the Nobel Peace Center invited the people in Oslo to take part in the Nobel Peace Prize Celebration from an outdoor stage at the City Hall Square.

Throughout the day, the stage was filled with mini lectures, music and inspiring speeches.

The program concludes with the torchlight procession, which begins its stage programme at 17:45 and departs for the Grand Hotel at 18:15.

This event is a part of Oslo Peace Days. A week in december where we celebrate peace and human rights. A cooperation with City of Oslo, The Nobel Peace Center, The Norwegian Nobel Institute, PRIO and the University of Oslo.
