Torchlight procession - Nobel Peace Prize 2025
On 10 December, we invite everyone to join the traditional torchlight parade to honor this year’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Maria Corina Machado.
We begin the celebration outside the Nobel Peace Center with speeches and music.
The torchlight procession is arranged by the Norwegian Venezuelan Justice Alliance. Any questions can be sent to nobelprize2025@norvenalliance.com
Practical info:
Meeting time is 17:45 in front of the Nobel Peace Center.
We start walking at 18:15.
We will walk together with lit torches to the Grand Hotel, arriving at 19:00.
Free torches will be distributed to participants at the event. Please note: due to fire safety regulations, it is not permitted to bring posters, flags, or similar items to this demonstration.

This event is a part of Oslo Peace Days. A week in december where we celebrate peace and human rights. A cooperation with City of Oslo, The Nobel Peace Center, The Norwegian Nobel Institute, PRIO and the University of Oslo.
