Outdoor stage: Music from No.4
No.4, made up of Emilie Christensen, Ingeborg Marie Mohn and Julia Witek, have journeyed from intimate living room gigs for friends, through dusty club stages and Rockefeller, all the way to the Opera House, the main stage at Øyafestivalen and Oslo Spektrum.
With three Spellemann-nominated albums and over 35 million Spotify streams, they have cemented their position as one of Norway’s most popular and beloved bands. With songs like “Lite og stort”, “Alt feil”, “Låst” and “Farlig”, No.4 have been the soundtrack to everyday life and celebrations for thousands, and when the band plays live, the concerts are filled with singalongs, dancing and an electric atmosphere.
Whether this is your first No.4 experience or your tenth, you are warmly welcome! Head down to the Nobel Peace Center at City Hall Square in Oslo and experience what might be the most beautiful outdoor event of the year, surrounded by peace and song.
The People’s Peace Prize Clebration is free for everyone, outdoors, and suitable for all ages, young and old.
ABOUT THE PEOPLE’S PEACE PRIZE CELEBRATION:
For the first time, we are inviting Oslo to join the Nobel Peace Prize Celebrations on an outdoor stage at City Hall Square, for free, of course!
Earlier in the day, we will screen the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony and welcome laureate Maria Corina Machado on stage.
From 16:00, enjoy concerts, mini-lectures and inspiring speeches, leading up to the Torchlight Procession.
We’ll do our best to make it cosy in the December cold with straw seating, candles and warm drinks. The Nobel Peace Center is open 13:00 - 19:00, drop by the shop or explore the exhibitions to warm up!
