A conversation about paths to peace
Why is it so easy to wage war - and so difficult to create peace?
This discussion is based on two current exhibitions at the Nobel Peace Center: Paths to Peace, which presents a historical overview of humanity’s attempts to create peace and A City of Ghosts, a powerful and personal photo diary by Fatma Hassona (Gaza, 1999–2025) Registration is required.
Location: Mandela Room, ground floor
Time: 18:00 – 19:15

Panel participants include Gunvor Knag Fylkesnes, Robert Mood, Kåre Aas, Kyrre Lien and Kjersti Fløgstad (moderator)

Knots on peace
In the Paths to Peace exhibition, you can take part in an interactive activity where you literally tie your own thoughts about peace.
What does peace mean to you? If you’re unsure - or just want to reflect with others - you’re invited to informal conversations and shared reflections with us.
Location: Paths to Peace exhibition, ground floor

Peace Wall
The more of us who engage in promoting peace, the stronger our message becomes.
In connection with Plan Norway’s upcoming exhibition A City of Ghosts, opening on April 22, tonight’s guests are encouraged to take part in creating a shared message wall for peace.
The exhibition honors Palestinian photographer Fatma Hassona, who documented life in war-torn Gaza. At just 25 years old, she was killed in an Israeli airstrike along with ten members of her family.
Location: Pop-up Studio, ground floor
Time: Drop-in throughout the evening (17:00–20:00)
