Nobel Peace Conference and Festival

A Message to Humanity

Oslo 6 August 2025 12:00-22:00

Hiroshima day

The annual Nobel Peace Conference and Festival celebrates the latest Nobel Peace Prize.

You can watch the conference here:

The Nobel Peace Conference 2025 celebrated Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nihon Hidankyo’s work for a world free of nuclear weapons. The same day, the world marked 80 years since the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. With the testimonies of the survivors as a backdrop, and in a time of international tension, we discussed today’s nuclear threat and look at solutions which strengthen the work to ensure that these weapons are never used again.
