Summer at the Nobel Peace Center

The Nobel Peace Center is open every day throughout the summer, with daily tours of the exhibitions.

The Nobel Peace Center is the museum for the world's most important prize, and with a location between Oslo City Hall and Aker Brygge, it is easy to visit when you are in the city. From 16 June to 31 August, the museum is open from 10:00 to 18:00 every day, with guided tours throughout the day. The store has its own entrance facing the City Hall Square and no ticket is needed to have a look at all the exciting products there.

Guided tour in message to humanity
Daily guided tours

There are guided tours of the exhibitions every day. The tours are in English and included in the ticket price. Guided tours are for anyone who wants to learn more about the Alfred Nobel and the history behind the Nobel Peace Prize, or want a guided tour of the exhibition about peace prize laureate Nihon Hidankyo and their work for a world free of nuclear weapons.

Every tour will be held in english and lasts approximately 30 minutes.

THE PEACE DOVE

Every Friday at the stroke of twelve, the peace dove flies from the windows of the Nobel Peace Center with a message of hope. As it crosses the City Hall Square, the John Lennon song Give Peace a Chance plays from the bell tower. A moving tradition that is being carried out since 2020 outside the Nobel Peace Centre, attracting more and more visitors.
