From Gaza to Oslo: Concert with El Susi

Elsusi is a rapper and music producer from Gaza, and in May 2024 became Stavanger's 14th City of Refuge artist. He started the band 'Revolution Makers' in 2009, which became very popular in Gaza. The band's music criticized the conditions for Palestinians and addressed issues such as corruption, poverty, and occupation.

Elsusi creates rap with Arabic melodies and is rooted in resistance and unity across borders. At Late Nights on September 24, he will perform songs of resistance and peace inside the exhibition War is Peace?.

All you need to join our themed evenings during Late Nights is a museum ticket. Remember to select the correct date and check off "Late Nights" when purchasing your ticket.

This is an event that normally has an admission fee. If you would like to participate but cannot afford the ticket, you can send an email to post@nobelpeacecenter.org to ask about availability. As long as there are seats left, you can attend for free. No further explanation is needed.

For your information: The Nobel Peace Center always offers free admission for people with asylum seeker or refugee status, as well as those participating in various work training programs.
