About the artists
Together with Julie Hrnčířová, Jan Khür co-runs the studio Abrakadabra.

Jan Khür is a Czech photographer based in Oslo since 2010. His work explores memory, identity, and human connection, often weaving together personal diary material and social documentary. In 2013, he founded Norwegian Photography Now, a platform promoting Norwegian photography nationally and internationally.

Julie Hrnčířová is a Czech artist based in Oslo. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, France, she has exhibited her work in various venues, including the Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles, the KÖSK gallery, and Fotografihuset in Oslo. Her artistic practice focuses on public space, urban environments, still lifes, and abandoned elements.

Pop-Up Studio
This exhibition is on view in the Pop-Up Studio at the Nobel Peace Center. Here, we lend out exhibition space free of charge to give others a voice, so that together we can speak more and louder about those who contribute to a more peaceful world. Together, we can give hope a voice.
