When she announced the Nobel Peace Prize laureate 2020, the Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Berit Reiss-Andersen, made a breach with tradition.

Normally, the name of the laureate is mentioned in the very first sentence. This year, the announcement started with a statement about the need for international solidarity.
