Friday 9 October at exactly 11:00, the big door at the Norwegian Nobel Institute will open, and the chair of the Nobel Committee, Jørgen Watne Frydnes will step out and deliver the news the whole world is waiting for: Who will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2026.
