Friday 6 October at exactly 11:00, the big door at the Norwegian Nobel Institute opened, and the chair of the Nobel Committee, Berit Reiss-Andersen stepped out and delivered the news the whole world was waiting for: Narges Mohammadi will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2023

10:30: start of NRKs announcement broadcast (This is in Norwegian)

11:00: The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize 2023 is announced - broadcasted live on screen.

12:00: The Peace Dove will fly with the good news of the week – the news of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate of 2023. Kjersti Fløgstad, Executive Director of the Nobel Peace Center and representatives from 'Save the Children' will be releasing the peace dove together.

You are also invited to join us on 7 October when we gather at Domus Bibliotheca to celebrate and learn about the Nobel Peace Prize together with Berit Reiss-Andersen, Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. Here, we will also unveil the 2023 peace prize diploma for the first time.
