On Friday 6 October the world will turn their attention to Oslo: Who will receive the Nobel Peace Prize 2023? Take part in this event!

Friday 6 October at exactly 11:00, the big door at the Norwegian Nobel Institute will open, and the chair of the Nobel Committee, Berit Reiss-Andersen will step out and deliver the news the whole world is waiting for: Who will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2023?

10:30:: start of NRKs announcement broadcast (This is in Norwegian)

11:00: The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize 2023 is announced - broadcasted live on screen.

12:00: The Peace Dove will fly with the good news of the week – the news of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate of 2023. Kjersti Fløgstad, Executive Director of the Nobel Peace Center and representatives from 'Save the Children' will be releasing the peace dove together.

You are also invited to join us on 7 October when we gather at Domus Bibliotheca to celebrate and learn about the Nobel Peace Prize together with Berit Reiss-Andersen, Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee. Here, we will also unveil the 2023 peace prize diploma for the first time.
