Crafting Peace: the Wall of Good Deeds
Moments of kindness, care, and compassion often go unnoticed, yet stay with us. Can everyday actions and good deeds contribute to a more peaceful world?
This participatory pop-up event explores how peace is shaped through everyday human actions.
The Nobel Peace Center invites you to contribute to The Wall of Good Deeds, a participatory project connected to our upcoming permanent exhibition Crafting Peace, opening in 2027.
The Wall of Good Deeds
The Wall of Good Deeds invites you to contribute a small, everyday object connected to an act of kindness that has stayed with you. The object itself does not need to be special or beautiful. What matters is the story it carries. It could be:
- a receipt from a meal someone paid for
- a note slipped into your hand
- a ticket, wrapper, keyring, or keepsake
- any modest item linked to a meaningful moment
Selected contributions will be displayed in the popup space during the event and will help shape the future permanent exhibition. Our aim is to build a living archive that celebrates how ordinary people craft peace, one small act at a time. Please note that you may be invited to donate your object to the permanent exhibition as the project develops.
