The event will be held in english. Doors open at 8:30 for registration and light breakfast. The programme starts at 9:00. Tickets are 85 kr.

The Nobel Peace Center, PEN Norway and The International Fund for Public Interest Media (IFPIM) invite to a breakfast meeting with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Ressa.

The Filipino American journalist was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2021, jointly with the Russian editor Dmitry Muratov, for her “courageous fight for freedom of expression». Ressa, who is co-founder and CEO of Rappler, Professor at Columbia University and co-chair of IFPIM, will share her thoughts on freedom of speech and the role of truth and trust in a world where democracy, press freedom and our information system are under attack.
