ABOUT US
The Nobel Peace Center is the museum for the Nobel Peace Prize. Through the ideas and accomplishments of the Nobel Peace Prize laureates, we aim to inspire a better and more peaceful world. Our education offer aims to engage students and teachers around the world!
We offer innovative teaching activities for people visiting the museum and a selection of lessons to be used in the classroom, no matter where you are. They are developed to create engaging learning experiences and facilitate reflection, critical thinking, and discussion on topics like disarmament, human rights, conflict resolution, negotiations, and dialogue. Our team of expert educators are committed to producing lessons to empower children and students to become conscious and active citizens wherever they are. In addition to the lessons, we offer a collection of resources suitable for self-study that teachers can add to their teaching.
Outside the classroom, in an inspiring setting, surrounded by photos and words that make us think, we manage to create a safe space for reflection. Toril Rokseth, Head of Education
