Press accreditation to the Nobel Peace Prize events in Oslo in December is now open.  Please note that the events require separate accreditation – there is no joint accreditation. Press Viewing of the Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition 2019 

Welcome to a sneak peak of the Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition 2019. Every year since 2005, the Center has created annual exhibitions about the Nobel Peace Prize laureate. The official opening of the exhibition is 11 December at 16.45 (with limited access for media, see below) and it will be avlable to the public from 12 December. 

  • Time: 11 December 10.30-12.00 CET (TBC)
  • Place: Nobel Peace Center, Brynjulf Bulls plass 1 / Rådhusplassen

Save the Children Peace Prize Party

A show made by and for children, to honour the Nobel Peace Prize laureate. HRH Crown Prince Haakon will attend the event, and the audience consists of school children from Oslo. The press is welcome to attend the event. For interviews with the children, please contact Tuva Wærdahl:  tuva.waerdahl@reddbarna.no

  • Accreditation: Apply via e-mail to fredsprisfesten@reddbarna.no by 1 December. Please submit name, date of birth and name of publication. 

An alternative way to follow the Award Ceremony

Press and other media representatives not accredited to the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony in the Oslo City Hall are invited to the Nobel Peace Center where the Ceremony will be transmitted live. The Nobel Peace Center is located next to the Oslo City Hall, on the seaside.
