THE OSLO SCHOOL PEACE PRIZE EXHIBITION 2007

06 Dec 2007–13 Jan 2007

Five Oslo schools and about 200 pupils have created works of art to pay tribute to the Nobel Peace Prize laureates Al Gore and The Intergovernmental
Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

The children used many different techniques and forms of expression in this exhibition. Some of them were pattern print on plywood, a photo series, paintings and a hanging textile installation.

In connection with opening the Nobel Peace Prize Exhibiton – Fever on 11 December, Al Gore and the IPCC Chairman Rajendra Kumar Pachauri, visited the school exhibition and met some of the children who made it.

The exhibition was made in cooperation with the Norwegian Nobel Institute.
