THE OSLO SCHOOL PEACE PRIZE EXHIBITION 2006

07 Dec 2006–14 Jan 2007

Nine Oslo schools and about 1000 pupils created works of art to pay tribute to the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank.

The children used many different techniques and forms of expression in the exhibition. Some of them were a model of a block of flats in Ammerud, a jig-saw puzzle of the world, a sculpture made of fingerprints and a globe in papier mâché.

In connection with opening the Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition – A Fistful of Dollars on 11 December, Muhammad Yunus and board member of Grameen Bank, Mosammat Taslima Begum, got to see the exhibition and meet some of the children who made it.

The exhibition was made in cooperation with The Norwegian Nobel Institute.
Room decor by Marte Moen Danielsen.
