The Nobel Peace Center is open every day (even Monday) in the winter vacation, from 10.00 to 18.00. Fred will greet our young visitors on weekdays between 13.00 and 14.00.
Would you like to take a selfie with me?
Fred and Toca Loca have made an activity booklet which makes exploring the museum both fun and exciting. We also offer the children’s activity Fred &Toca Loca go green, which is about the “green” Nobel Peace Prize laureates.
The Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition 2015 – The Tunisian Method tells the story of how the Quartet navigated the road from chaos and mass protests to free elections and a new constitution. You can also visit the exhibition TARGETS which displays images of the enemy from around the world.
The exhibition 1965 UNICEF tells the story of the 1965 Peace Prize award – the first award ever given to an organization who works for children’s rights.
Sunday, February 28 is also the last opportuinty to view our exhibition of Dalai Lama – smiling superstar and spiritual hero.
Our café Alfred offers lunch, beverages and pasties and the museum shop is also worth a visit.
Welcome to an eventful winter week here at the Peace Center!
