Join the Nobel Peace Prize celebration

This year’s Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to ICAN – the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons. Join the celebrations!
Here is an overview of the public events:
sunDAY 10 DECEMBER
13.00 Come to the Nobel Peace Center to watch the live transmission of the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony. The event is free and open for everyone from 12.30–14.30. The Nobel Peace Center will only be open for the transmission of the ceremony. The rest of the museum will be closed. Limited number of seats.
15.00: For the perfect warm-up ahead of the torchlight parade, see the experimental film “the bomb” at Rockefeller. The electronica / rock band The Acid will also perform the film’s memorable soundtrack live. Read more here.
17.30 Torch light parade. Meet up outside Oslo Central Station. Speeches and music will set off the parade towards the Grand Hotel where the Nobel Peace Prize laureate will appear on the balcony to greet everyone. The event is open to all and free.
monDAY 11 DECEMBER:
The annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert takes place at Telenor Arena. John Legend, Alan Walker, Sigrid and Zara Larsson are among the artists honouring the Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Read more and buy tickets here.
tuesDAY 12 DECEMBER:
The Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition 2017 opens to the public. The Nobel Peace Center is open 12:00–18:00. Guided tours in English at 14.00 and Norwegian at 15.00. Read more here.

Sunday 10 December at 11.00–12.00 Save the Children are hosting their annual Peace Prize Party at the Nobel Peace Center. The event is closed, but you can watch it live here:
