Welcome to our birthday!

06 June 2015 10.00–18.00

The Nobel Peace Center is staging a fantastic open-air festival to celebrate its 10th anniversary, and everyone’s invited!

We are setting up camp outside the museum, and all the tents are filled with fun activities. In the circus tent, you can learn circus skills and watch performances by Cirkus Xanti. In Alfred’s chemistry tent, you can make your own ice cream using liquid nitrogen and watch a chemistry show with bangs, flames and more. Join cartoonist Josef Yohannes and learn how to create your own superhero. You can also make your own birthday crown, fold paper cranes, have your face painted or hands hennaed, or just sit quietly and listen to fantastic tales from around the world.

The Red Cross and Unicef, both Nobel Peace Prize laureates, will also be contributing to our birthday celebrations, with a refugee school and first aid courses. Entry to the museum itself is free of charge all day, with lots of extra guided tours and a brand-new activity for the kids: Fred and Toca Loca Go Green. Of course, our cafe Alfred is open all day, with DJ Claes playing music for peace.

 I’m coming – are you?
