Visit the Nobel Peace Center during Easter for interesting exhibitions and activities for the whole family. Fred the giraffe will be here every day between 13:00 and 14:00.
We are open every day between 10.00 and 18.00, also Monday 26 March and Monday 2 April. Guided tours on Saturdays, Sundays and other public Holidays (29 and 30 March and 1 April) at 14:00 are included in your ticket.
visiting with children?
Children under 16 have free entrance. From Tuesday 27 March until Sunday 1 April, Fred the giraffe will be here every day between 13:00 and 14:00 to meet the children. Fred loves hugs!
Inside the Nobel Peace Center you will find the children’s’ trail Fred and Toca Loca – A warm welcome. It is about being forced to flee from home, and is recommended for children between 6 and 10 visiting together with an adult.
As the first museum in Europe, we are showing the fascinating photo exhibition Generation Wealth by Lauren Greenfield, about our obsession with status, beauty and wealth.
The Nobel Peace Prize exhibition Ban the Bomb is a real-life account of the global nuclear threat and a tribute to this year’s Nobel Peace Prize laureate, ICAN, that is working to ban all nuclear weapons. On our first floor, you will also find The Nobel Field, with all the Nobel Peace Prize laureates gathered in the same room, and you can learn more about the work of some of the most inspiring persons in history.
