Easter 2016

19 March 2016 10.00 -  28 March 2016 18.00

Are you planning on visiting Oslo during the Easter holidays and wondering what to do? Stop by the Nobel Peace Center on Rådhusplassen.

We are open every day from 10.00 to 18.00 during the holiday. Guided tours are included in your ticket, and take place in English at 14.00 and in Norwegian at 15.00 in the weekend, and every day from Thursday 24 March through Monday 28 March.

Are you visiting with children? Why not let them explore the Peace Center with Fred and Toca Loca. Fred has decided to not go skiing this Easter and he will be here from Monday to Wedensday. Come by between noon and 1 pm to say hello or try the new children’s activity route Fred & Toca Loca speak out, which is about children’s right to be heard.

You can use this opportunity to see our new exhibition Syria is my only home. In this exhibition children tell their own story about the life as refugees and what they miss from their lives before the war through photos and films.

Among our other exhibitions you can find 1965 UNICEF which tells the story of the 1965 Peace Prize – the first award ever given to an organization who works for children’s rights. The Nobel Peace Prize Exhibition 2015 – The Tunisian Method, is about the National Dialogue Quartet and the road from chaos and mass protest to a new constitution and free elections. You can also visit the exhibition TARGETS with images of the enemy from around the world.

We wish you a happy and peaceful Easter!
